The project renovates an existing residence through structural recalibration and spatial reorganization. Rather than introducing a new stylistic identity, the design focuses on optimizing spatial potential while responding to contemporary living needs. Original architectural outlines were preserved, with selective reinforcement and circulation restructuring to improve openness, clarity, and functional efficiency.A key strategy integrates the courtyard landscape into the interior through framed views and controlled daylight, establishing continuity between inside and outside. The public area is organized around a central island that consolidates living, dining, and kitchen functions, strengthening shared interaction within a cohesive wood-and-stone material framework.The staircase and double-height volume act as spatial devices, introducing vertical light and reducing perceived mass. A recessed entry threshold incorporates storage to create a flexible transitional buffer. Concealed sliding partitions allow adaptable boundaries between public and private zones, while clear wet–dry zoning in the bathroom enhances usability.Through structural logic, proportion control, and material consistency, the project transforms an aging structure into a contemporary living environment defined by clarity and precision.

以重新梳理既有空間結構為起點，在保留建築原始輪廓的前提下，透過結構補強與動線重整，建立更為開放且清晰的生活場景。設計核心並非單純風格轉換，而是回應居住需求與空間潛能之間的平衡關係。庭院綠意成為空間轉化的關鍵媒介。藉由引光與框景手法，將戶外樹影與自然光納入室內視覺軸線，使內外場域產生連續對話。公共區域以中島為核心，石材與木質構成溫潤基底，整合客廳、餐廳與廚房機能，強化空間的共享屬性。樓梯設計結合局部結構與實木扶手，搭配實木踏面與挑高複層，引入垂直光線與視覺延伸，降低量體壓迫感，同時創造動態光影層次。入口處下沉區與收納機能結合，形塑過渡性的玄關緩衝空間，提升使用彈性。場域延續整體木紋材質語彙，透過隱藏式滑門整合視聽與書房機能，在開放與私密之間取得彈性平衡。主臥以漸進轉折語彙與實木地板延續溫潤氛圍，浴室則透過明確的乾濕分區與嵌入式收納，建立清晰秩序與使用效率。
